ALLOTMENT POLYTUNNEL FOR GREENFINGERED PLYMOUTH PUPILS.

Schoolchildren in Plymouth have celebrated the opening of their ‘Premier’ polytunnel with the help of The Allotment Project.

The 10ft wide x 30ft long polytunnel was set up on a community plot near Laira Green Primary School, in Laira, Plymouth. The joint project between the school and the community aims to educate the pupils on where food comes from and how to grow their own. It will also teach adults in the community about what the pupils learn.
